SOUTH AMERICAN SOCIOECONOMIC INDICATORS
Use the Internet, including the Web sites below, to find and analyze data for the following South American countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Venezuela. Look for data on GDP per capita, unemployment, life expectancy for men and women, and literacy. This will give you an idea of each country's economy and standard of living.
After you've analyzed and discussed the data, use a word processing program to write a few paragraphs describing how the countries compare to one another. Share your ideas on the reasons for the differences and similarities.
